Thursday, Dec. 16: Ice Rink Opening, Gravel Street Dismay

Plus a Maloney Holiday Concert, United Way Giving Tree and art therapy at MidState

Gravel Street dismay

Gravel Street Residents near Maloney High School were for the most part non-plussed about proposals to put in new sidewalks and perform other reconstruction work on their street at Wednesday night's public information meeting in the school's cafeteria. If you missed the meeting you can go to City Hall's Engineering office to look at the documents presented during the event, and can register your feelings on the planned $8.7 million project by sending statements to Pierre L. Blanchet, Associate City Engineer, Meriden City Hall, Rm. 19, 142 East Main Street, Meriden, CT 06450.
