Santa brought my 10-year-old the newest Katy Perry CD, because apparently Santa has never listened closely to the lyrics. Thank you, Santa. And thank you, Katy Perry, for singing "Let's go all the way tonight. No regrets. Just love." Yes, friends, those are the lyrics in the song called Teenage Dream. And don't even get me started on the songs on the second half. I can't wait till Katy Perry and Russell Brand have kids. I am going to send them all kinds of inappropriate stuff.

In this hour (and apparently it's a marathon, as Ray Kroc is at 8 and Henry Ford at 9), Ernest and Julio Gallo. This made me smile, because every Christmas my husband reminisces about his Italian grandfather hauling out the jug of E&J (you know the one I mean, the giant jug of wine with the tony glass loop at the top for one finger to fit through) at the big meal and everyone being all happy that it was a special enough occasion for the good stuff.
