Tractor-Trailer Crashes Into Meriden Home
The resident at the home thought he heard thunder or a bomb going off.

MERIDEN, CT — A tractor-trailer crashed into a house early Thursday morning on Preston Avenue, according to The Meriden Record-Journal. The home's resident, Aldo Signarello, said he initially thought it was thunder or "a bomb going off."
The crash occurred just after 4 a.m. when the truck, carrying mail from Springfield, Mass., hit three parked cars, a tree, and then the 484 Preston Ave. home, The Record-Journal reported
The tree also struck the home. The homeowners are currently displaced, WTNH reported.
