Two Meriden Funeral Directors Re-elected to Executive Committee of Connecticut Funeral Directors Association
Jonathan Erickson and Patrick L. Ferry have Leadership Positions on Statewide Professional Organization
Meriden, Connecticut funeral directors Jonathan Erickson and Patrick L. Ferry have been elected to their second one-year terms as members of the Executive Committee of the Connecticut Funeral Directors Association (CFDA).
Jonathan Erickson is a licensed funeral director at Beecher & Bennett Funeral Service, Inc. in Meriden and Hamden, Conn., his family-owned funeral firm that was founded in 1894. A graduate of North Haven High School, Erickson received his professional education from Lincoln College of New England in Southington, Conn. (now Goodwin University), and became a licensed funeral director/embalmer in 2013. Erickson is a member of Board of Directors of the Midstate Chamber of Commerce in Meriden, Conn.
Patrick L. Ferry is a licensed funeral director and a Vice President at John J. Ferry & Sons Funeral Home in Meriden. He is a fifth-generation funeral director in his family’s firm that was founded in 1890 by his great-great-grandfather John J. Ferry. Ferry became a licensed funeral director/embalmer in 2013 after receiving his professional schooling from American Academy McAllister Institute of Funeral Service in New York City. He also holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Hartford, and a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the University of Connecticut. A graduate of Maloney High School in Meriden, Ferry is President of the Board of the Boys & Girls Club of Meriden, and is a member of Meriden Elk Lodge 35 and the Meriden Lions Club.
