"Bridges and Walls"

The connections between individuals, communities, cultures, and nations are bridges that enable the flow of ideas, commerce, and people bringing us all closer together. These connections bring change and uncertainty causing many here and around the world to call for tearing down the bridges so carefully constructed and erect walls in their place. Let us consider this in terms of our Sixth Principle which proclaims a vision of world community, with peace, liberty, and justice for all.
