"On Cultural Appropriation" - Indigenous Peoples Sunday
Worship Leader: Lisa Urso
Worship Associate: Megumi Yamamoto

The term "cultural appropriation" has been mentioned sporadically in our media over the last few years, particularly around the holiday many refer to as Columbus Day. That said, how many people know what it really means? More importantly, how many realize its implications for those of various ethnicities and religious traditions? We will explore the idea of cultural appropriation, not as it pertains just to our society, but in many countries around the world.

We’ll continue to celebrate community with a “Second Sunday Dinner” right after the service. Stay on and enjoy! Please bring a salad, entrée, or dessert to share.
