Veteran Meriden Officer Dies
Sgt. Leonard Caponigro passed away Saturday. His funeral is Wednesday.
Sgt. Leonard Caponigro, an internal affairs officer with the Meriden Police Department who had been with the department since he was 18, died Saturday.
Caponigro had just retired in January, according to news station WFSB
