Wife and Husband Argue, She Stabs Him: Meriden Police
The incident occurred Monday afternoon on Cook Avenue.

Meriden, CT - A 57-year-old Meriden woman was arrested and charged with second-degree Assault after allegedly stabbing her husband during an argument Monday afternoon at their Cook Avenue apartment, according to police.
The Meriden Record-Journal reports that Rena Fontaine was also charged with:
- Risk of Injury to a Minor
- Reckless Endangerment
- Disorderly Conduct
Police said Fontaine allegedly stabbed her husband in the arm with a kitchen knife during the altercation, after an afternoon of drinking. She allegedly claimed he attacked her.

She was held in lieu of a $2,500 bond and is due in court on July 12.
