Windsor Man Charged For Swiping U-Haul Rental

A local man racked up $4,000 in rental charges after he neglected to pay for a U-Haul rental, according to a report.

WINDSOR, CT - A man allegedly never paid for a U-Haul rental, then left the vehicle at a U-Haul parking lot in Georgia, according to the Journal-Inquirer. Troy Hicks, 31, was charged with second-degree larceny.

The credit card he initially supplied for the rental was declined. Hicks was supposed to return the vehicle later that day, but kept the vehicle for 23 days, for which he was charged $4,000 that he reportedly never paid.
