Woman Charged In Meriden Car V. House Wreck

A woman has been charged in connection with a crash into a home in August.

MERIDEN, CT — A city woman has been charged on accusations that she was driving under the influence when she hit a home on Yale Avenue in August, The Meriden Record-Journal reported. Stephanie Lancaster, 40, of 209 Blackstone Village, was charged with driving under the influence, third-degree assault, third-degree assault of an elderly person, killing a companion animal, second-degree reckless endangerment, and failure to wear a seatbelt.

A resident was injured and a dog was killed in the wreck.
