MERIDEN, CT — A city woman has been charged <a href="https://www.myrecordjournal.com/News/Meriden/Meriden-News/Police" rel="noopener nofollow" target="_blank">on accusations</a> that she was driving under the influence when she hit a home on Yale Avenue in August, The Meriden Record-Journal reported. Stephanie Lancaster, 40, of 209 Blackstone Village, was charged with driving under the influence, third-degree assault, third-degree assault of an elderly person, killing a companion animal, second-degree reckless endangerment, and failure to wear a seatbelt. A resident was injured and a dog was killed in the wreck.
