Woman Hospitalized After Stabbing In Meriden: Police
The woman was stabbed multiple times Monday night, according to police.
MERIDEN, CT — A woman was hospitalized after being stabbed multiple times Monday night in Meriden, according to police.
Police responded to a gas station in the 400 block of Colony Street around 7:30 p.m. on the report of a woman suffering from multiple stab wounds.
Police determined that the attack happened at the victim’s home and she was able to flee the scene, according to officials. She provided police with a brief description of her attacker, officials said.

The victim was taken to Midstate Medical Center where she was stabilized and later air lifted, via LifeStar, to another medical facility, according to police.
She was listed in stable condition Tuesday morning and police are waiting to interview her, officials said.

Police said the suspect is known to the victim and detectives are actively working to clarify the relationship and details of the attack.
