Basketball is Back at The Middlesex YMCA!
Don't miss this chance to help your children develop skills, stay active, meet new friends and HAVE FUN! Classes start Saturday, March 2nd!

At the Middlesex YMCA we create a positive atmosphere where your children can make friends, learn skills, and have fun all year round. Spring Session 1 registration is open and classes begin Saturday, March 2nd! All classes are taught by Certified Physical Educator and Camp Ingersoll's Assistant Director, Coach Taylor!
Spring Session 1: March 2 - April 20
Sports are more than dribbling, kicking, or throwing. We teach social skills: how to make friends, share common interests, how to work together with a partner, and HAVE FUN! It shouldn't be a chore to work up a sweat in youth classes, and it isn't at the Y. Our activities are participation based, exciting, and all inclusive!

Parent and Me Basketball (3 yrs) 9:00 - 9:45 AM
Designed to introduce 3 year old's to Basketball with a helping hand from Mom, Dad, or Grandparents! Children will spend 8 weeks learning and practicing all the skills necessary to play basketball! Children will practice and play in a safe, structured, and FUN environment! This is an opportunity for you to spend quality time together while easing your child into social situations, build confidence, and experience a common traditional sport! Everyone plays and receives a T-Shirt.

Pee Wee Basketball (4-6 yrs) 10:15 - 11:00 AM
Designed to introduce participants to the wonderful world of Basketball! Children will spend 8 weeks learning and practicing all the skills necessary to play basketball at the next level! Children will practice and play in a safe, structured, and FUN environment! This is an opportunity for you to ease your child into social situations, build confidence, and experience a few traditional sports! Everyone plays and receives a T-Shirt.
Cardboard Creations! (5-10 yrs) 11:30 - 12:15 PM
Get creative with cardboard in this brand new youth activity! This program is designed for participants to get creative with recycled materials. Design, decorate, and build anything you can dream up using materials as simple as cardboard! Knight?s armor, a city, a dinosaur, or even Darth Vader, the possibilities are endless!
Beginner Tumbling (4-8 yrs) 12:45 - 1:30 PM
Join us as we learn the basics of tumbling! This class offers young children an introduction to the fundamentals of tumbling such as somersaults, handstands, cartwheels, and round offs, which will provide the building blocks for furthering gymnastics skills. Students will work to improve flexibility, strength, body awareness, and focus on technique to ensure safety.
