Middletown, Conn. — Middlesex Community College welcomed area business representatives to a complimentary Business Partner Breakfast event on Thursday, March 29, 2018. The MxCC Business Partnership Program offers customized training to both private and public employers. A team of skilled instructors can work with local companies and organizations to design workshops and classes specific to the organizations’ and employees’ needs. Common topics include building effective working relationships with teams, time management to boost productivity, and customer service.

“This event was an excellent introduction to the variety of resources available to businesses at MxCC. The fact that the faculty can also take training programs to the businesses that need them is an important and enticing feature,” said Susan Beckman, economic development director of the Town of Old Saybrook. “In addition, the facilities at the Center for New Media are particularly impressive with state-of-the art studios and equipment. Previously, I was unaware that MxCC offers corporate media production services that have been used by area businesses and Fortune 500 companies.”
