During the 2017 Inspiration Awards Ceremony in St. Charles, Ill., two employees at Covenant Village of Cromwell – one of 15 retirement communities operated by Covenant Retirement Communities (CRC) – received Inspiration Awards for demonstrating excellence in service standards and behaviors. James Harris works in maintenance and received the award in the Safety category and Patricia Dooley, unit coordinator at Covenant Village of Cromwell’s health care center, received the award in the Responsiveness category. Both awards were presented by Terri Cunliffe, president and CEO of CRC.
“CRC is committed to creating joy and peace of mind for residents and their families by providing a better way of life,” said Cunliffe. “This year’s recipients demonstrate how creating a culture of exceptional service can improve the quality of life for the people who live and work at a Covenant Retirement Community.”
Harris has worked in maintenance at Covenant Village of Cromwell for more than 12 years. “Jim is always thinking of others and anticipating their needs,” said Pamela Klapproth, Covenant Village of Cromwell’s executive director. “He is compassionate and thoughtful with residents and co-workers, and he is always ready to help. The number of residents who request Jim reflect how dependable and well-liked he is within our community.”

CRC’s Inspiration Awards are presented annually to employees who demonstrate excellence in the service standards and behaviors that support the organization’s Common Purpose: to create joy and peace of mind for residents and their families by providing a better way of life.
