Kiwanis Foundation of Middletown – Warm The Children Program Receives Grant from the Community Foundation of Middlesex County

The Kiwanis Foundation of Middletown is pleased to announce it has received a $2,000 grant from the Community Foundation of Middlesex County. This grant is made possible, in part, through the Community Foundation of Middlesex County/Chuck and Rachel Wiltsie Fund, William McCann and Best Cleaners Fund, Preston Family Fund, Patti Anne Vassia Fund, Jan Ellen Youngblood Fund. The Kiwanis Foundation of Middletown will use these funds to support the Warm The Children program.
The Kiwanis Foundation of Middletown is a not-for-profit organization whose Warm The Children program provides new winter clothing for local children in need. The program provides for children from birth through age 15. Each child is allotted up to $80 for new clothing; $60 if under age 4.
The CFMC grant will be used entirely to purchase new winter clothing and footwear. Lynn Baldoni, coordinator of the Middletown Kiwanis program states “this grant will enable us to serve at least another 25 children in the upcoming winter season.”

Community Foundation of Middlesex County represents local people, giving locally to make an impact on the lives of others – not just for today, but forever.
