World Class Martial Arts Seminars Offered

Cromwell Martial Arts located at 871 Newfield St. in Middletown hosted world class martial arts seminars on June 24, 2017.

Christine Bannon-Rodrigues, a 9 times world karate champion, instructed a seminar on kicking and fighting techniques. The seminar covered footwork, kicking techniques, and fight strategies. Ms. Bannon-Rodrigues is an 8th degree black belt in karate and also did stunt double work in films such as " Batman and Robin" and " The Next Karate Kid".

Frank Shekosky, a martial arts hall of fame member and 7th degree black belt, instructed a seminar on modern arnis covering stick fighting techniques as well as striking drills. Frank Shekosky is also a 6th degree black belt in weapons and was a personal student of the late Grand Master Remy A. Presas.
