2 Men Rescued Off of Charles Island After Their Canoe Flips Over: Report

MILFORD, CT — A canoe tipped over late Sunday and two people were rescued off of Charles Island Monday, NBC Connecticut reports.
When the two men didn't show for work, their boss called police out of concern, NBC Connecticut reports. At around the same time, police received reports that two men were stranded on Charles Island Monday morning and the Fire Department rescued them via a boat.
Both men are expected to be ok, NBC Connecticut reports.
