2nd Annual Superhero 5K - A Success!

Thank you for the overwhelming amount of support towards MPC and Woodruff Family YMCA's 2nd annual Superhero 5k and family day!!

On behalf of the Milford Prevention Council & The Woodruff Family YMCA, we extend a huge thank you to everyone who was involved as a sponsor, vendor, volunteer, raffle and goody-bag donation and participants at our 2nd annual Superhero 5K & Family Fun Day!

Special recognition to our Superhero team; especially Bill Bevan, BounceTown USA, Sensitive Care Dentistry, GE Credit Union, Chiropractic & Wellness Center of Milford, AllState Insurance, Mathnasium, Rotary Club of Milford, Trader Joe’s, Napoli Deli, Bagel Bar, Milford Police Department, Milford Fire Department, CT State Police Department and of course the team from Alternate Universe, LLC. This day couldn’t have been pulled off without the 30+ volunteers who gave their time throughout the day and the entire Milford community for its continued support.

Our purpose is to provide and promote resiliency through healthy family activities and to foster that back into the community. We hope that this 2nd annual Superhero Day did just that! We want to, again, thank everyone who attended, volunteered and helped promote this event to make it successful. We are looking forward to next year with many similar and new faces in attendance!
