50,373 'Winning' Powerball Tickets Sold in Connecticut: Did You Win Some Money?
Sadly, the life-changing 'winning' ticket was not sold in Connecticut. For a breakdown of the 'winners' see below.

The Connecticut Lottery says 50,373 “winning” Powerball tickets were sold here for Saturday’s massive $429.6 million drawing.
And while the state may have sold tens of thousands of “winning” tickets none were for the top prize or anywhere near it.
That honor went to the Garden State where the winning grand prize ticket was sold in Mercer County in New Jersey. There was only one ultimate winning ticket sold for Saturday’s seventh largest Powerball jackpot.

Another 3,915 tickets were sold for prizes ranging from $7 to $14, and a staggering 46,330 tickets were sold and the big pay out for those tickets is for between $4 and $8.
To see if you’ve won a few bucks check your tickets and the winning numbers are: 05, 25, 26, 44, 66. The red Powerball number was 09.
The Powerball is now reset back to $40 million. Maybe a Connecticut resident will have better luck in the next drawing.
The Connecticut Lottery also says five $1 million or more winning tickets were sold in the state within the past six months and the winners still have not yet claimed their prizes. Tickets expire 180 days after a drawing and one winner expire in early June 2. You can view those numbers and drawings to see if you have a winning ticket and don’t even know it.
Earlier this year, the Powerball jackpot climbed up to $1.6 billion, the highest it's ever been. Three people from California, Tennessee and Florida ended up cashing in on the jackpot.
The Jan. 13 drawing captured the attention of millions around the country and made national news.
