Man Surrenders After 36-Hour Standoff In Milford

Police are continuing to investigate at the scene, officials said.

MILFORD, CT — A man surrendered after a 36-hour standoff on Pullman Drive in Milford, police said in an update Tuesday night.

Police said the man surrendered “without incident and was taken into custody.”

“Milford Police Detective Bureau secured a search warrant for the premise for weapons,” police wrote in a post on X at 9:30 p.m. “Milford Police remain on scene as the investigation is on going.”

(Original post) MILFORD, CT— Police are investigating on Pullman Drive near Burnt Plains Road in Milford on Tuesday morning. Police asked residents to avoid the area.

News 12 CT reports that the call began as a wellness check on Monday but is now a standoff, which started on Monday and is still ongoing. Police told News 12 CT that they didn't think anyone else was inside the home besides the one man.
