A collection of mini-workshops and information tables have been prepared that are sure to provide great information and some fun.

From Milford Ed: Whether you’re a brand new adult in the world (just graduated from college, first time going out on your own), or someone who’s been an adult for a while – there are lots of things we can still learn. Let’s call them ‘survival tips.’ That’s where the Milford Public Library comes in as they present their first-ever Adulting 101 Program on Saturday, Aug. 4th . A collection of mini-workshops and information tables have been prepared that are sure to provide great information and some fun. The presentations will run from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

The subject matter focuses on the tasks that we all encounter in our every-day lives – things like laundry, grocery shopping, purchasing insurance, finding a lawyer, among many others. The schedule is as follows:
11:00 – 11:30 a.m. Move Over, Hello Fresh! DIY for Half the Price: If you’re new to the adulting game, grocery shopping and menu planning may seem too time consuming, too difficult, and too inconvenient. Learn how to make this normal routine fun – and economical. Kathy and Tony Bonetti will show you how it’s done.

11:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon: Why You Might Need a Lawyer: In today’s world, you never know when you might need a lawyer. Get the scoop from none-other-than Paul Otzel, of the Kapusta/Otzel/Averaimo law firm.
