Affordable Townhouse Complex Project Pitched For Milford
A developer is pitching a proposal to build affordable housing units at the edge of downtown Milford, according to a report.
MILFORD, CT — A developer has submitted plans to construct a nine-unit affordable housing project about a block north of the Milford Green, Hearst Connecticut reported.
The townhouse complex would be situated on a parcel at the intersection of West Town and Hill streets and Beardsley Avenue.
The Planning and Zoning Board will likely review the project in March.

The developer, Warren Field of Three S Properties LLC, said that rental rates will be below the city average for two-bedroom homes, which is between $2,600 and $2,900 per month, according to Hearst Connecticut.
This project would mark the 17th affordable housing proposal for Milford since 2015, when a state law designed to encourage such proposals was passed.
