Almost Over?: Construction on New Haven Ave.
Those dealing with traffic on the corner of New Haven Ave. and Pond Point Ave. will have to wait anywhere from "two weeks" until "early Summer" for traffic routes to get back to normal.
For weeks, traffic has been unusually clogged up on the corner of New Haven Ave. and Pond Point Ave., where is located. Motor vehicles have been re-routed onto Pond Point Ave. while construction continues on New Haven Ave.
The Milford Department of Public Works was not able to comment on construction progress, as New Haven Ave. (Route 162) is a state road.

The Construction Division of the Dept. of Public Works for the State of Connecticut was able to shed some light on when work is scheduled to finish up in the area.
A representative for the department said that the "construction part is supposed to be done in approximately two weeks, but the entire project is not supposed to be completed until early Summer."
