American Idol Winner Nick Fradiani Jr. Coming to Milford: Report

MILFORD, CT - American Idol winner and Guilford native Nick Fradiani Jr. will visit Milford in celebration of his upcoming album, the Milford Mirror reported.

The reality show winner will perform Saturday, Aug. 6 at noon at the Connecticut Post Mall, according to the Milford Mirror. The event will mainly consist of a short acoustic performance, as well as an opportunity for fans to take photos with Fradiani.

His album “Hurricane” comes out on Big Machine Records Aug. 5, according to the Milford Mirror. He lived on Milford at one point and played in the band Beach Avenue.

Fradiani has a house in East Haven and spends time occasionally at his parents’ home in Guilford, where he was interviewed last year by Patch over the phone. His record label used his songwriting talent to their full advantage, with him co-writing 11 of the 12 songs on his upcoming album.

He also plays guitar, and has often found himself jamming in his parents’ house with his father. Though his schedule has been hectic, the hard work will all be worth it when he can belt out a couple tunes and take pictures with not just his adoring CT fans, but also his new fans all accross the globe.
