MILFORD, CT — The Milford Regional Chamber of Commerce marked the grand re-opening of Always Best Care Home Care during a Jan. 21 event at 50 Broad St., Suite 6, in Milford.
The event included remarks and attendance from Mayor Rich Smith, state Sen. James Maroney and members of the local business and residential community, according to the chamber.
Always Best Care Home Care provides non-medical in-home care and medical alert services to older adults and their families. The Milford and New Haven office serves clients in Milford and several surrounding communities, including Orange, West Haven, Branford, Hamden, Guilford, Meriden and New Haven.
The business is part of a national home care organization and is locally owned and operated.
According to the announcement, the company works with hospitals, social workers, senior living communities and other senior service providers across Connecticut.
Caregivers employed by Always Best Care undergo background checks, competency testing and ongoing training, the release stated. The business is registered with the Connecticut Department of Consumer Protection and is bonded and insured.
The Milford and New Haven operation is owned by Ariel Calmanovici, who entered the senior care field after a career in finance. The press release stated that Calmanovici took time away from his career to travel with his daughters, an experience that influenced his decision to focus his work on services for older adults and their families.
