MILFORD, CT — Milford has made a list of the "10 Best Places to Live in Connecticut, According to Real Estate Experts." The rankings come from Travel + Leisure.
While Milford was listed second, the best places list was "in no particular order," and included the best suburbs, towns, and cities in the Constitution State.
Christina Zainc, a realtor with Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Gaetano Marra Homes, called Milford "a vibrant shoreline town, offering direct train access to NYC at a more affordable price point” than Fairfield County.
Zainc said the average sale price for single-family homes in Milford is between the high $500,000s and low $600,000s, and in the $300,000s for condos.
“Take a stroll on the beach boardwalks, or walk out to Charles Island during low tide. Enjoy dinner at a waterfront restaurant and have every convenience close by,” she said.
The Annual Milford Oyster Fest also gets a mention as "it doesn’t get more New England than that."
