Ryszard J. Cwiczak, 65 of Milford, passed away on April 17, 2026, at his home in Milford, CT. Ryszard was born on March 19, 1961 in Ropczyce, Poland, to the late Jozef and Maria Rataj. He was the beloved husband of Krystyna Cwiczak.
It was in Poland that he met the love of his life, Krystyna, and their connection was truly love at first sight. Together they built a strong and lasting partnership and eventually settled in Milford, Connecticut, where Krystyna had grown up. They were married at St. Gabriel Parish and began their life together, raising their beloved son and daughter in a home filled with warmth, laughter, and cherished traditions.
He was funny, outgoing, and full of life, finding joy in simple pleasures such as fishing, dancing with his beloved wife, and celebrating his heritage at Polish festivals. Above all, he cherished his role as a grandfather. His granddaughter, Aleksia, was the light of his life, and being her “Jaja” was his greatest honor.
Ryszard is survived by his beloved family: son Kristopher Cwiczak, daughter Elaina Cwiczak (partner Christopher Rodriguez), granddaughter Aleksia Rodriguez, brother Krzysztof Cwiczak, brother Wieslaw Cwiczak, and sister Dortka Zawiza. As well as many additional beloved family and friends.
