MILFORD, CT — The following information has been provided by the Milford Police Department and does not indicate convictions:
A New Haven man was arrested April 25 after a shoplifting complaint at Boscov’s on Boston Post Road. He was charged with sixth-degree larceny and is accused of stealing $260 worth of merchandise through fraudulent returns. He was released on a promise to appear in court.
A Milford woman was arrested April 30 following a domestic violence investigation. She was charged with disorderly conduct and is accused of hitting the victim after a verbal argument over the use of a vehicle. She was released on a promise to appear in court.
A Milford man was arrested April 30 following a restraining order violation complaint. He was charged with violation of a restraining order and is accused of returning to a residence after being told not to do so in violation of the order. Bond was set at $2,500.
A Milford man was arrested May 2 after police responded to Gulf Street for a disturbance. He was charged with disorderly conduct and second-degree criminal mischief and is accused of kicking a neighbor’s door, causing about $300 in damage. He was released on a promise to appear in court.
A New Haven man was arrested May 2 after police responded to a fight on a Milford Transit District bus on Old Gate Lane. He was charged with breach of peace and is accused of causing a disturbance on the bus. He was released on a promise to appear in court.
A Milford woman was arrested May 3 after police took her into custody on an active warrant out of Waterbury. She was charged with possession of a controlled substance after police said heroin was found on her during the arrest. She was released on a promise to appear in court.
A West Haven man was arrested May 4 after a shoplifting complaint at Walmart on Boston Post Road. He was charged with fifth-degree larceny and is accused of stealing $564 worth of merchandise. He was released on a promise to appear in court.
A Milford man was arrested May 5 on a warrant charging a sexual registry offense. Police said he is accused of failing to verify his address as required under registry rules. Bond was set at $10,000.
