MILFORD, CT — The following information has been provided by the Milford Police Department and does not indicate convictions:
- A 32-year-old West Haven man was charged May 5 with criminal trespass after police said he refused to leave the Connecticut Post Mall after previously being trespassed from the property. He was released on a promise to appear in court June 2.
- A 72-year-old Milford man was charged May 5 with disorderly conduct and violation of a protective order after police investigating an unrelated incident heard someone calling for help. Police said the suspect grabbed and yelled at the victim while a protective order was in place. Bond was set at $2,900 and he was scheduled to appear in court May 6.
- A 34-year-old Beacon Falls man was charged May 6 with evading responsibility and interfering with an officer after police said he backed into a mall security vehicle and fled the scene at the Connecticut Post Mall. Officers later located him in the parking garage, where police said he provided false identifying information. He was released on a promise to appear in court June 2.
- A 48-year-old Milford man was charged May 6 with disorderly conduct after police responded to a domestic violence complaint. Police said he pushed the victim and threw items at her. Bond was set at $2,500 and he was scheduled to appear in court May 6.
- A 46-year-old Bridgeport man was taken into custody May 6 on an active warrant charging him with fifth-degree larceny and conspiracy to commit fifth-degree larceny. Police said he stole nearly $600 worth of tequila from Total Wine & More in August 2025. He was released on a promise to appear in court June 4.
- A 30-year-old man was charged May 6 with fifth-degree larceny after police said he stole $586.44 worth of merchandise from Walmart on Boston Post Road. He was released on a promise to appear in court June 3.
- A 52-year-old Norwalk man was taken into custody May 7 on an active warrant for second-degree failure to appear. Bond was set at $25,000 and he was scheduled to appear in court May 8.
- A 47-year-old Milford man was charged May 7 with driving under the influence, suspended registration and no insurance following a motor vehicle accident at Anthony D’s Bar and Grill on New Haven Avenue. Police said he was operating under the influence of alcohol. Bond was set at $500 and he was scheduled to appear in court June 4.
- A 43-year-old Milford man was charged May 8 with violation of a protective order and second-degree failure to appear after police conducting a welfare check found him with a protected party despite a full no-contact order. Police also said he had an active warrant out of Derby. Bond was set at $17,500 and he was scheduled to appear in court May 11.
- A 40-year-old man was charged May 8 with violation of a protective order, breach of peace, second-degree threatening and carrying a dangerous weapon after police said he threatened a victim with a knife during an argument while a no-contact protective order was in place. Bond was set at $15,000 and he was scheduled to appear in court May 11.
- A 48-year-old Hamden man was charged May 9 with sixth-degree larceny after police said he stole $338.48 worth of merchandise from ShopRite on Boston Post Road. He was released on a promise to appear in court June 2.
- A 40-year-old man was charged May 9 with violation of a protective order and breach of peace after police said he arrived at a residence with a facsimile firearm in violation of a no-contact protective order. Bond was set at $20,000 and he was scheduled to appear in court May 11.
- A 40-year-old Milford man was taken into custody May 11 on a warrant charging him with four counts each of violation of a protective order and violation of a standing criminal protective order. Police said he repeatedly contacted the victim despite two active protective orders. Bond was set at $25,000 and he was scheduled to appear in court May 12.
- A 37-year-old Hartford resident was taken into custody May 11 on a warrant charging sixth-degree larceny and conspiracy to commit sixth-degree larceny. Police said the suspect participated in a fraudulent return while an accomplice stole merchandise from Banana Republic in March. The suspect was released on a promise to appear in court June 9.
- A 43-year-old West Haven man turned himself in May 11 on a warrant charging second-degree harassment. Police said he repeatedly contacted the victim after being told to stop. He was released on a promise to appear in court May 12.
