Today, AT Sangha Yoga and the Amae Collective celebrated the opening of its new and expanded location in true "Sangha" community spirit with a ribbon-cutting ceremony, followed by an open house celebration.
Located at 44 River Street, 1A, Milford, the 4,000 sq ft yoga studio is nearly triple the size of its former locations, and includes a wellness collective boutique of specially curated goods, handmade jewelry, and healing experiences.
A member of both the Milford Regional Chamber of Commerce (MRCC) and the Amity Chamber of Commerce (ACC), co-owners Amy Rushow and Traci Weber (holding scisssors) were joined by Milford Mayor Rich Smith, ACC CEO Barry Lee Cohen, MRCC Director of Membership and Marketing Simon McDonald, Milford Director of Economic and Community Development Robert Townes, State Representative Kathy Kennedy, along with clients, friends, and family throughout New Haven County.
Rushlow and Weber stated, "Sangha is a Buddhist term that signifies the importance of community in personal growth and enlightenment. Our community-centered studio and collective provide a calm, revitalizing oasis rooted in connection, healing, and everyday well-being. All fitness and experience levels are warmly welcome and encouraged to visit us."
AT Sangha Yoga offers beginner-friendly yoga classes, meditation, restorative yoga, educational workshops, and trauma-informed practices. For further information on AT Sangha Yoga and the Amae Collective, please visit
