The priciest recent sale was a home on Carrington Avenue that went for $2.2 million, with several other properties closing between late May and early June.

Info Released For Large Arts-And-Crafts Fair In Milford (patch.com) — Milford’s historic Green will be packed as the 53rd annual Fair on the Green returns today and Saturday, bringing more than 100 artists and craftspeople to the town center. Residents can browse everything from wooden furniture and pottery to jewelry, quilts, gourmet foods, and pet treats, all while enjoying live music hosted by Mary Taylor Memorial United Methodist Church.
3. Milford approves plans to convert vacant church into 20 apartments (nhregister.com) — Milford officials have approved converting a vacant Devon church on Pequot Street into 20 apartments, including six affordable units, while preserving the building’s historic exterior. Developer Stephen Shapiro says the project will add much-needed workforce housing, bring a long-empty property back on the tax rolls, and could inform broader middle-housing efforts across Connecticut.

Police: Milford homicide was a targeted attack (news12.com) — Milford police say Wednesday’s deadly shooting inside a home on East Broadway appears to have been a targeted incident, not a random attack, and they see no broader threat to the community. Extra patrols are in the neighborhood for reassurance, and investigators are asking anyone with information to contact Milford police.
5. Summer Music Series featuring Inner Groove (ctpublic.org) — A band that regularly plays in Milford, Inner Groove, is kicking off part of Connecticut’s Old State House free Summer Music Series in Hartford, running every Friday lunchtime from June 5 through October 2. Milford-area fans can catch their eclectic rock, blues, pop, and country mix in person or via livestream on Facebook and YouTube.
