Milford Schools Announce Schedule Change Due To Weather Conditions

MILFORD, CT — Milford Public Schools will dismiss early Thursday due to the heat and humidity.

Milford Public Schools will have an early dismissal today due to the projected extreme high temperatures and humid conditions.

There will be no PM preschool classes. If you have a child in an after-school program, it will be closed. All after-school activities are canceled.

Temperatures will run between 87°F and 93°F, with heat indices climbing into the mid-90s and possibly reaching near 100°F. Because un-air-conditioned buildings will become oppressive during the afternoon hours, we are dismissing early to ensure the safety and comfort of our students and staff.
