MILFORD, CT — A man accidentally fired his gun inside a Milford apartment building earlier this month, according to police.

Police responded to a report of a suspicious incident at a Robert Treat Drive residence June 17.

A Milford man is accused of accidentally firing his gun through the floor, causing damage to another apartment, police said.

He was charged with unlawful discharge of a firearm and released on a promise to appear in Milford Superior Court on July 15.
