MILFORD, CT — A man is facing charges after he fled from police, striking a police car and two other vehicles in the process, according to police.
A Shelton man was charged with first-degree criminal mischief, interfering with an officer, second-degree reckless endangerment, reckless driving and disobeying the signal of an officer.
Police attempted to stop the man May 26, but he eluded officers. He struck a patrol vehicle and two other vehicles in a Wendy's parking lot before taking off.
He was taken into custody July 4 and is scheduled to appear in court Aug. 3.
