Barbara Jean Bottone of Bridgeport passed away peacefully on August 1, 2026 at Lord Chamberlain Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Stratford. She was born December 14, 1946 in Bridgeport to the late Edward and Dorothy Dobelstein.
Barbara cut hair before going on to a successful career at Warner Co in Milford. She was a quiet, kind person, a great cook of Italian food, and loved the New York Mets. Above all, family was everything. Barbara was a loving sister to Susan and Patty and devoted Godmother to KJ.
Barbara will be sadly missed by her sisters: Susan Waller and her husband Kenneth and Patty Wasson and her husband, Bob; her nieces: Michelle, Stacey, and Chrissy; and her nephew and Godson, KJ. In addition to her parents, Barbara was predeceased by her sons: Frankie and Jeffrey DiBiagio.
