George Edward Anderson Jr., 64, of Milford, CT - Kissimmee, FL, passed away on June 17, 2026. Born September 19, 1961, he was the son of the late Betty and George Anderson Sr. He is survived by his sister, Donna Holden, brother-in-law (brother from another mother) Terry Holden, his two nieces, Brianne and Alyssa Holden, and his furry friend, Mr. Bear. He is also survived by his Aunt Carol Anderson and two cousins, David and Laura Anderson.
George was known for his infectious sense of humor, his quick wit, and the ability to make others laugh. He was an avid Star Trek fan (Trekkie) and had a love for animals, many calling him the dog whisperer. George loved working in and being a resident of Florida. He worked for Walt Disney World after receiving his degree from Southern Connecticut State University.
George graduated from Jonathan Law High School in 1979 where he loved being an actor in the Drama Club and was an amazing center for the JLHS Football Team. At Southern Connecticut State University, he played center for the football team and received his Associates Degree in Business Management. He loved cooking and held many positions as a chef at many diversified restaurants. George also enjoyed being part of the Backstage Crew for many Carol Farrell productions - his 2nd family.
There will be a memorial gathering in George's honor at Gusto's Restaurant in Milford, CT Sunday August 16th from 3-7 pm.
