Oyster Farm Among 70 New Businesses Registered In Milford In July

MILFORD, CT — Seventy new businesses registered with the state in Milford in July, according to the Connecticut Business Registry.

One entry was Dockside Oyster Farm LLC, which registered under the shellfish farming category at 40 Bridgeport Avenue on July 17. Dockside Brewery operates at the same address.

Food and retail filings included Cookies Cubed LLC, a retail bakery, and Carrie Wilcox Floral Design LLC, a florist. Contracting, insurance and real estate filings made up much of the rest of the month.

State registration marks when a business files paperwork with the Secretary of the State, not necessarily when it opens to customers, so some of these ventures may not yet be operating at the addresses listed.
