Patrice Ann Shanley, 69, of Milford, passed away on August 26, 2026.

Most of all she cherished her time at Laurel Beach where her life centered around family, friends, tennis, and walking the seawall.

Patrice Ann Shanley, 69, of Milford, passed away on August 26, 2026. Born on September 10, 1956 in Bridgeport, CT, she was the daughter of the late John Vincent and Patricia (Fohs) Shanley, Sr.

Patrice lovingly devoted her life to caring for others as a Registered Nurse working at Norwalk Hospital for many years and at home caring of her mother.

Patrice loved traveling both overseas and in the United States. Most of all she cherished her time at Laurel Beach where her life centered around family, friends, tennis, walking the seawall, the "casino" and best of all sitting in her beach chair overlooking Long Island Sound.

Left to cherish her memory are her siblings: John (Debra) Shanley, brother-in-law Timothy Tracy, Suzanne Swan, and Thomas (Janet) Shanley. Patrice's nieces and nephews: Stacey Shanley, Kaitlin (Tory) Jacob, Tyler Shanley, Tim (Hilary) Tracy, Sheena Tracy, Colleen (Kyle) Kendall, Zack (Lori) Swan, Maggie Swan, Kelly and Bridget Shanley. Additionally, her great nieces and nephews, whom she loved so much: Brayden, Rylan, Kaylie Jacob; Declan and Finley Tracy; Landon and Emily Verderame; Chloe, Kaden, McKenzie Kendall; and Ryder, Braxton, and Harper Swan. Additionally, her many dear friends who meant the world to her.

In addition to her parents, Patrice was predeceased by her sister Shaileen Shanley Tracy, her nephew Sean Shanley, and brother-in-law Francis "Zack" Swan.

Friends and family may call on Thursday, September 3, 2026 from 4pm to 7pm at the CODY-WHITE FUNERAL HOME, 107 BROAD ST., MILFORD, CT. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by her cousin Monsignor James Shanley on Friday, September 4, 2026 at 10am at Saint Gabriel Church (St. Raphael Parish), 26 Broadway, Milford, CT (Meet Directly at Church). Interment will follow at Saint Mary Cemetery, Buckingham Ave.
