James L. Keating

James L. Keating, age 82, of Milford, entered into peaceful rest on August 29, 2026, surrounded by his family.

James was born on July 19, 1944, in Bridgeport and was the son of the late John J. Keating and Lillian (McGuire) Scott. He proudly served in the U.S. Navy. He was a shift supervisor for CL & P Power Plant in Milford for many years before his retirement. He was a friend of Bill W.

James is survived by his devoted daughter, Jennifer A. Keating-Tomasko of Milford; his son, Matthew L. Keating of West Haven; his loving grandchildren, Adam and Carly Tomasko of Milford; and many dear friends.

Family and friends may call on Wednesday, September 2, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., with a funeral service to follow at 6:30 p.m. at the GREGORY DOYLE FUNERAL HOME, 291 Bridgeport Avenue, Milford. A Graveside Service with Military Honors will take place on Thursday, September 3, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. (DIRECTLY) at King's Highway Cemetery, Milford.
