Milford Releases Bulk Waste Pickup Schedule For Fall 2026

The city is informing residents on requirements, prohibited items and the schedule for collection.

MILFORD, CT — The city has released its fall 2026 schedule for bulk waste pickup in Milford along with rules for collection.

Mayor Rich Smith has announced the schedule for Milford's Fall 2026 Bulk Waste Pickup Program.

This residential service requires homeowners to properly prepare and separate acceptable bulky waste items. Similar items should be grouped together in bags or containers. All acceptable items placed at the curb will be collected—including containers. Residents are asked to follow these guidelines:

Prohibited Materials:

The following items are not accepted through the Bulk Waste or Transfer Station programs. Please use appropriate local disposal options for:

  1. Hazardous waste
  2. Liquid waste, including oil-based paint
  3. Propane and helium tanks
  4. Grass clippings, logs, and stumps
  5. Sheetrock, concrete, bricks, porcelain tubs, sinks, toilets, and other demolition materials

Fall 2026 Bulk Waste Pickup Schedule:

Pickup begins on the following Mondays, based on your regular garbage day:
