Barbara R. Barrett

Barbara R. Barrett, age 68, of Bridgeport, entered into peaceful rest on September 14, 2026.

Barbara was born on April 5, 1958, in Bridgeport to the late John and Columbia (Cappozi) Barrett. She worked as a security guard for many years, was a huge sports enthusiast, and enjoyed politics.

She is survived by her sister, JoAnn Barrett of Shelton; her brother, John Barrett, III and his wife Susan of East Haven; and a nephew and a niece and her family.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, September 26, 2026 at 10 a.m. at Saint Mary Cemetery, Milford. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Gregory Doyle Funeral Home, 291 Bridgeport Avenue, Milford.
