MILFORD, CT — Anchor Social Milford will be temporarily closing, according to the restaurant and bar's Facebook page.
"We'll be taking a short break as we focus on what's next," they wrote. "We have big plans coming! We're going to be bigger, stronger, and even more excited to bring you the best of Anchor Social."
The establishment remained open through Sunday.
The post thanks customers, staff and the local community, noting that fans should "stay tuned for updates."
Anchor Social is located at 141 Merwin Ave.
The bar and restaurant opened in Milford's Woodmont neighborhood in summer 2025 in a spot formerly occupied by Village Bistro.
Anchor Social serves steak, salads, fish, seafood, and burgers along with a list of wines and cocktails. Also featured is a raw bar with oysters, clams, lobster, shrimp, and more.
The restaurant has a 4.6-star average on 135 Google reviews.
