MILFORD, Conn. (October 5, 2026) – The Milford Senior Center will host Dining in the Dark, its first exclusive curated dinner, on Thursday, October 22, in North Haven. Proceeds will benefit the center's Senior Nutrition Program, which supports older adults in the Milford community.
Guests will be blindfolded during each course of a curated four-part tasting menu, paired with local wines and ciders. Without sight, diners rely on taste, aroma and texture, which turns the meal into a sensory experience and a guessing game.
"We wanted to create an evening that was as memorable as the cause behind it. For many of our seniors, a nutritious meal is about more than food. It's about health, dignity and staying connected to their community. Every seat at Dining in the Dark helps us keep that support going." said Leonora Rodriguez, executive director of the Milford Senior Center.
Seating is limited to 40 guests.
