Buddy Prete, owner of Ultimate Interiors Floor Covering in Downtown Milford (www.ultint.com), has been chosen by Connecticut Magazine as one of this year's "Forty Under Forty." He is featured in their March issue.
Born and raised in Milford, Buddy graduated from Jonathan Law High School, where he was a member of the Key Club and a delegate to American Legion Boys State.
He received a Bachelor's Degree in Finance from Fairfield University. In 1992 he opened Ultimate Interiors Floor Covering while still attending Fairfield University.

He joined Milford Rotary at the age of 25 and is a past Board Member and served as Site Manager for 10 years of the highly successful Annual Lobster Bake. He is the recipient of various Rotary "Service Above Self" Awards and Governor's Distinguished Service Citation.
He is the Treasurer of Milford Progress, Inc. and serves as liaison to the Milford Chamber of Commerce Board. He is also a member of and advisor to the Downtown Milford Business Association.

Buddy is committed to the City of Milford and looks forward to the betterment and economic development of the city. He is also a member of the Milford Columbus Committee and an Assistant Coach to his son's Little League team.
Buddy has 2 children with Christie (Rackiewicz) Prete, also a lifelong Milford resident and a BS & MBA graduate of Fairfield University. She is a Board Member of the CT Chapter of the American Red Cross and a Girl Scout leader.
