-Milford Franchisee Gives Back to Customers to Celebrate Restaurant’s Sixth Anniversary-

Milford, CT (April 27, 2012)—The SUBWAY® restaurant located at 1454 Boston Post Road in Milford will be celebrating a customer appreciation day Saturday, May 12 from 7am to 7pm.

To commemorate the sixth anniversary of the locally owned and operated restaurant, hungry event goers will be able to bring friends or family to take advantage of the all-day BOGO sale, with a free foot long sub being offered with any foot long purchased. Six lucky raffle winners will enjoy free foot long subs for a year to mark the location’s sixth year in business. Giveaways and a chance to win on the “Spin N Win” prize wheel will accompany a full day of food, and music. The SUBWAY® chain’s iconic mascot, Subman, will also be on hand to greet submarine sandwich fans of all ages.

The community celebration will be hosted by local businessman Eric Sudol, who has been a SUBWAY® franchisee for eight years. Eric also works at SUBWAY® world headquarters providing support for the almost 18,000 franchisees and 360,000 folks employed at SUBWAY® restaurants worldwide.

An active member of the community, Eric and his brother and business partner, Sly, continuously support local organizations such as the Orange Lions Club, the Milford Senior Center, Milford YMCA, and high schools. Their staff often fulfills large catering orders for both personal and community events, such as school-sponsored post-prom celebrations, and the annual American Heart Association Heart Walk.

 “My brother and I feel very fortunate that we have been able to open and operate our Subway sandwich shop in a place that has such a loyal and caring customer base,” said Eric. “As a local small business owner, it’s very important for us to give back to those who have shown their support. We wanted to do so with a fun event for the whole family.”

Channeling the experiences of famous SUBWAY® spokesperson, Jared Fogle, Eric followed suit with his own diet, losing 38 pounds eating SUBWAY® salads and low fat subs. “I pack my subs with tons of vegetables and I love the Honey Oat Bread. Walking a lot helps too!”

The Sudol brothers also own a second SUBWAY® restaurant in Milford, and one in Naugatuck, providing more than thirty jobs in the communities served. They have plans to open more locations together in the near future.
