Grace Margaret Pimenta Fernandez of Milford, was granted her angel wings on January 19, 2011. Born on September 21, 2010 in Milford, she was the daughter of Neftali Jorge Fernandez and Hannah Catherine Pimenta. Grace warmed the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
In addition to her loving parents, Grace is survived by her beloved maternal grandparents; Jeff Pimenta and his wife Mary and Eileen Riha and Frank Liuzzo and beloved paternal grandparents Lucy and Pedro Fernandez; her cherished aunts, Meghan, Sarah and Mary Pimenta and Debra and Hadassah Fernandez and her Uncle Manny Fernandez; maternal great-grandmother, Angelina Pimenta., and paternal great-grandmother Edith Rodriguez. Also surviving are numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
The meaning of the name Grace is Beauty, Blessing, Gods Love or Favor, and in barely four short months our baby has truly lived up to her name. Gracie had her Mommy’s eyes, as peacefully blue as a calm sea. Little Gracie would look deeply into your eyes and erase any pain, worry or doubt you may had been harboring. Our Gracie had a smile that could melt even the coldest of hearts; her laughter was like music that you could feel through your entire body. She fit perfectly in anyone’s arms, (especially her Mommy and Daddy’s), and always loved a good snuggle. It was Grace who brought us all together, and Grace who taught us how to really love. Her absence will be felt by all who were ever lucky enough to know this special little girl. Like her name, God knew he was giving us a blessing, but in the end even God couldn’t part with her himself. Gracie will always be ours special little angel and live on in all our hearts, minds, and souls until the end of forever, and all of eternity. Grace was greeted in heaven by her Great-grandmother Margaret Riha and her great-aunt Linda Hughes where she will stay until the day we all meet again.

Friends and family may call at the Cody-White Funeral Home, 107 Broad St, Milford, CT. 06460 on Tuesday, January 25, 2011 from 4:00-7:00PM with a Prayer Service at 6:30PM with the Reverend James Cronin officiating. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Grace’s name.
