Anne Kirmaier, age 91, of Milford, beloved wife of the late Siegfried Kirmaier entered into peaceful rest on August 8, 2025.
She was the daughter of the late Martin and Anna Mitterneder and was born on February 28, 1934 in Erding, Germany. Anne was a manager for the Mechanics and Farmers Bank in Milford for many years. She was a volunteer at Milford Hospital for over 30 years and also volunteered for the American Cancer Society, Relay for Life. Anne loved spending time with her family, was an avid NY Yankees fan and enjoyed playing badminton with the Badminton Babes back in the day.
Anne is survived by her devoted children, Raymond G. Kirmaier of Milford, William L. Kirmaier of Hamden and Susan A. Kirmaier Sage of Stratford and her loving grandchildren, Stephanie, Kathryn, Ryan and Olivia Sage and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, Anne was predeceased by her son Michael P. Kirmaier, her grandson, Paul M. Kirmaier and her two sisters and her brother.
Family and friends may call on Wednesday, August 20, 2025 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the DOYLE FUNERAL HOME, 291 BRIDGEPORT AVENUE, MILFORD. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, August 21, 2025 at 10 a.m. at the DOYLE FUNERAL HOME. Interment to follow in Mountain Grove Cemetery in Easton.
