Bald Eagles Rebuilding in Milford After Wind Destroyed Nest, Eggs
Officials were worried that the eagles would leave the city but it appears that is not the case.

MILFORD, CT - It looks like a good news update concerning the two Milford bald eagles that lost their next and one of its eggs in a major windstorm last month.
The New Haven Register reports that the two bald eagles have been busy rebuilding their nest near where their first one fell in Milford.
Bald eagles usually lay their eggs toward the end of February and may not be able to raise a family this year, a wildlife official told the Register, but the good news is that they will likely remain in Milford and can raise a family next year if they aren’t able to this year.
