Beloved wife, mother and grandmother. She was a homemaker and crafter for over 40 years.
GIAMBRA Barbara, age 92 of Milford, beloved wife of Biagio (Benny) Giambra, died Wednesday, June 18, 2025. Mrs. Giambra was born in Fairfield, CT., February 3,1933 to the late James and Edith Middlebrook Sewell and was a Milford resident for 63 years. She was a homemaker and crafter for over 40 years.
Survivors, include a son, Stephen Giambra (Cherie) of Milford; a daughter, Diane Ruddy of Middletown; a daughter-in-law, Sherri Giambra of Milford; seven grandchildren, Crystal Ruddy, Michael (Katherine) Giambra, Jennifer (Duane) Field, Samantha (Benjamin) Pellant, Stephen, Jason and Ryan Giambra; great-grandchildren, Zachary, Phoenix, Dakota, Timothy, Grayson, Brooks and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Giambra was predeceased by a son, Michael Giambra; by a sister, Shirley Amuro; by a grandson, David Ruddy; a great grandson Michael Giambra Jr and son-in-law, Timothy Kringstad.
All services will be private. The family is being compassionately cared for by CODY-WHITE FUNERAL HOME, 107 BROAD ST., MILFORD, CT. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society at https://givenow.lls.org
