25 Best Connecticut High Schools: U.S. News Rankings 2016
U.S. News and World Report in a just released report ranks 25 Connecticut public high schools among nation's top 1,000.

U.S. News & World Report has just released its top public high schools list nationwide and the good news is 25 Connecticut high schools make the top 1,000 list.
A total of 21,000 public high schools across the country were ranked based on students performance on state assessments and graduation rates and how well prepared they were for college.

Nationwide the top 5 list includes: No. 1, Schools for the Talented and Gifted, Texas, No. 2, BASIS Scottsdale, Arizona, No. 3, BASIS Tucson North, Arizona, No. 4, School of Science and Engineering, Texas, and No. 5, Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology in Virginia.
